I decided to expand my Web Design skills this past year, and have taken some graphic design courses. Instead of hoarding this information I decided to create a new section on the site to share what I have learned.
The Design section will hold lessons on Web Design, Digital Painting, and Graphic Art design. As I take new courses I will share them in the Design section.
Each lesson will include a Word 2007 lesson file, a Photoshop CS3 work file, a finished image file, and a reference file of all materials used in the lesson. If you want the original lessons you can find them on the web or on tuts+.
I also highly recommend visiting Ctrl+Paint for videos on digital painting. Ctrl+Paint videos are hosted by Matt Kohr and include detailed information on how to draw and paint digitally.
If you are interested in digital painting outdoors, Digital Plein Air Society has a laptop setup that works well outdoors. Nothing like being able to take your digital painting into the open air!
So check back often to the Website Design and Digital Art for new lessons!
